who's counting?

I am...

E left for Maine yesterday and the countdown has begun: 84 days. So, in the meantime Pep and I are attempting to adjust to being just the two of us here in SF. We went to the dog park this morning, did some grocery shopping, and hit up the Goodwill.

But, on the topic of counting...I've been meaning to post about my FIRST ride (that is, I got on my bike without the intention of destination): 18.68 miles! E went with me, riding to Sausalito and dodging the tourists for an outrageously priced cappuccino. We crossed the Golden Gate--super windy--and rode down the hill on the other side back to the bay level.

Mr. Cool

Mrs. Cool...yeah...

It was awesome, and my biggest accomplishment? Not keeling over! Think I may give it another whirl on my little Milano next weekend. I heart my bike... (it used to say so on my handle bars until that bell drove me crazy), and in dedication to it and to Leah's new choice ride (coming soon):

And, though we aren't counting E's years since 8 years ago, we celebrated nonetheless at a Neko Case concert at the Warfield... she was a vision and we were crazy close to her. yay!

Nice theater...eh?

guess who's taller than me?

forthcoming: honeymoon pics... yeah, I know... a little late but who's counting?
